PREADD PA 143

Special fluoroelastomer processing aid masterbatch with PE-LLD as the carrier polymer for PE-LLD based films. It improves processing in conventional PE-LD extruders and specially designed PE-LD extruders when PE-LLD is being run. It also improves the extrusion of PE-HD. The fluoroelastomer additive used in PREADD PA 143 migrates towards metal the surfaces of the extruder enabling the use of narrower die gaps. PREADD PA 143 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to EC directives. It is also cleared by FDA regulations as long as the dosage is less than 6.6 %. Its dosage rate is 0.5-3 %.
