Rhenocure® CA by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a secondary accelerator in EPDM and CR compounds which contain ethylene thiourea. It causes a very rapid sulfur-free vulcanization aiming at a fast-full cure and a high degree of cross-linking. It provides highly effective activation and secondary acceleration in NR and SBR, if no sulfur is used. Rhenocure® CA minimizes blooming tendency of other accelerators. It is used in molded and extruded technical articles like cable coverings and foils. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
