Rhenogran® Hexa-80

Rhenogran® Hexa-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an accelerator for the vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubbers. It offers a high degree of cross-linking and rate of cure is fairly slow. In combination with resorcinol, it is used as a formaldehyde donor for the rubber-to-metal bonding (steel cord). In Rhenogran® Hexa-80, addition of antioxidant is recommended to improve the resistance to aging of vulcanizates. It is applicable in slow-curing mixes, thick-walled articles, roller coverings, light-colored and transparent vulcanizates. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
