Price-increaseDover Chemical Corporation has announced a price increase of $0.11 per pound for off-list prices on all grades of paranonylphenol and di-nonylphenol products. The change in cost will come into effect from February 1, 2021, or as contracts allow.

Uses of Paranonylphenol and Di-nonylphenol

Paranonylphenol finds its use in many different applications. They are used as widely as surfactants. Nonylphenol is reacted with phosphorus trichloride to produce trisnonylphenol phosphite, which is a common antioxidant. Nonylphenol reacts with aldehydes to yield phenolic resins. A variety of nonylphenol derivatives are also used as polyvinyl chloride plasticizer intermediates. There are other possible fields of application for nonylphenol.

Some uses of di-nonylphenol includes plasticizer for resins, phosphite stabilizers, nonionic sulfactants, dispersants.

The adjustment in price is made due to steadily increasing costs including, but not limited to raw materials, packaging and transportation. All orders placed for shipment on or after February 1, 2021 will be subject to this increase.
