Eastman has announced that the company is now producing Eastman 168™ non-phthalate plasticizer at its Mauá plant in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The step is taken to meet strong local demand. It's the first site in the country to produce this line of plasticizer, which is a preferred alternative for several applications, including footwear, children's toys, films, and plastisols.

Eastman 168™ is a non-phthalate
plasticizer that has been safely used for more than 45 years, with proven performance in flexible
PVC and a variety of other applications. It is a cost-effective, general-purpose, non-phthalate
plasticizer with a clean toxicology profile.

plasticizer providers and is bringing its technology closer to the local community and making an important investment in Brazil. This is an example of the strong responsibility we feel to the communities and regions where we do business.
In addition to Eastman 168™, other plasticizers for a variety of applications are made at the Mauá site.
