Emery Oleochemicals GmbH announces its latest sustainability-related performance by receiving the EcoVadis Silver Medal. The company’s European Green Polymer Additives and Bio-Lubricants business units were evaluated on sustainability criteria such as environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement aspects, ranking at the top 25 % score among the evaluated companies.

EcoVadis is an independent platform that rates the sustainability performance of global supply chains. More than 100,000 companies from over 200 industries in 175 countries use the EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment for an objective evaluation of their environmental and social measures.
The comprehensive audit includes 21 different indicators that reflect the quality of the company’s sustainability management system. Topics such as health and safety also play a significant role in the assessment.
