Dover Chemical Corporation announces that it has achieved a Bronze Medal from EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings.
This is the first year the company has earned a medal from EcoVadis.
Global Standard for Business Sustainability Ratings
Dover Chemical Corporation scored 57, which places the company in the top 35% globally. EcoVadis is the global standard for business sustainability ratings.
The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes. These themes are Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. EcoVadis rated more than 85,000 companies globally.
Dover Chemical recognizes the importance of our commitment to sustainability. We are pleased with our rating but understand this is only the beginning of our journey.
EcoVadis Corporate Sustainability Ratings are based on international sustainability standards. These standards are the UN Global Compact Ten Principles, the International Labor Organization (ILO) Conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and the ISO 26000 standard. The ratings provide an evidenced-based analysis of performance. Also, it provides an actionable roadmap for continuous improvement.
