CAI Performance Additives announces a slate of new products which includes ST-LST5350 and ST-LST0850, two proprietary light stabilizing agents.
They are extremely low VOC additives, meaning compounders can deliver light stabilization for their customers without worrying about inducing smell or surface bloom of VOCs.
Additives' Applications
These additives are particularly useful in durable applications like automotive parts that need to withstand long periods of light exposure. Unlike traditionally compounded
light stabilizers, ST-LST0850 and ST-LST5350 are produced through a proprietary reactive process with no heat-history present when used by compounders. No dust or liquids need to be handled.

The simple addition of this masterbatch can add huge value to your customers with superior resistance to clouding or fading surface qualities in final products. These new ST-LST products are in a unique pelletized form, so they can be added straight to the hopper, unlike other liquid poured solutions that are process-intensive.”
