TAGS: Surface Modification Additives for Packaging PVC, Plasticizers and Sustainability K Show 2022
The former Croda polymer additives business to exhibit at K Show as Cargill, for the first time at both in Hall 7A – D05. Since the acquisition this summer Cargill is the new home for polymer additives brands such as Crodamide™, Incroslip™, Atmer™ and Ionphase™.
Products to be Displayed
Crodamide™ slip and anti-block agents for easier processing & handling of polymers manufacturing, offer processors and end-users more flexibility, greater performance, and better-quality plastics. Using Crodamide™ specialty additives lowers the friction of adhesion between contacting polymer surfaces and the polymer and other materials.
The Incroslip™ range is a versatile one as it delivers both high stability and optimized slip, torque release, mold release and anti-scratch benefits to polyolefins. These additives can be used in challenging applications such as automotive interiors, caps and closures, food packaging and films to reduce friction during processing, to improve ease of converting and aid in end-use.
Cargill Atmer™ and Ionphase™ anti-static product ranges offer different technologies, physical forms, and longevity to provide the required static control for different materials and applications. Our anti-static additives are added to reduce or eliminate static related issues such as static dust attraction or electrostatic discharge (ESD).
Their technical experts would advise which products to use, how to optimize the formulation and how to test the end product’s static performance to meet the industry standards for static protection.
New Additions in the Portfolio
-
Cargill now offers new plasticizers such as Biovero™ high performance bio-based phthalate-free plasticizers that offer permanence, efficiency, fast-fusing and thermal stability.
-
Unique slip, anti-scratch, and processing aid data to improve the performance of biopolymers.
-
New findings on how Incroslip C can improve HDPE recyclate by providing enhanced flow with improved MFR, whiter recyclate and no impact on mechanical properties.
