Valtris Specialty Chemicals has received the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Certified Bio-based Product label for Santicizer® Platinum G-2000.
Santicizer® Platinum G-2000 will display the USDA Certified Bio-based Product label which indicates the portion of a product that comes from a renewable source. Third-party verification for a product's bio-based content is administered through the USDA BioPreferred Program. One of the goals of the BioPreferred Program is to increase the development, purchase and use of bio-based products.
85% Certified Bio-based Content
Santicizer® Platinum G-2000 is an epoxy soyate ester with 85 percent certified bio-based content. Santicizer® Platinum G-2000 is a general-purpose
plasticizer with performance comparable to other alternatives to ortho-
phthalates general purpose plasticizers. It offers good processing performance, low-temperature properties and heat stability. Formulators can combine Santicizer® Platinum G-2000 with one of Valtris’ Santicizer alternatives to ortho-
phthalates plasticizers, to create optimized solutions for their specific processing needs.
Santicizer® Platinum G-2000 is cost-comparative, readily available, and performs as well as or better than its petroleum-based counterparts.
