Fillers > Mica Powders

Polymers that incorporate mica as a filler, exhibit exceptional surface qualities, stiffness, dielectric properties, strength and good weathering performance. The most common mica mineral used in plastics industry is muscovite due to it colorless appearance. Other mica minerals used in polymers are phlogopite and biotite which has high iron and aluminium contents. Mica containing plastics find uses in manufacturing of automotive bumpers and fascias.
