POLYBATCH® COM DUL 3636 DP 20

POLYBATCH® COM DUL 3636 DP 20 by LyondellBasell is a matting agent masterbatch. It provides better matt surface, low pressure in front of the filter allowing higher output and no dust formation at the airknife. It reduces die build up and the shiny spots frequency during film extrusion. It improves processing and provides excellent interlayer adhesion when applied in coextrusion against all kind of polyolefin types. POLYBATCH® COM DUL 3636 DP 20 is compatible with PP block copolymer, PP homopolymer, PP random copolymer, LDPE and LLDPE. It is suitable for blown film, calendaring, sheet extrusion, blown molding, cast film and oriented flat film applications. It is used for the production of matt tape base films, matt packaging films combining reverse print dry or wet laminated with PE, CPP or BOPP as well as in films for lamination on paper and cardboard. All matt compounds can be diluted upto 25% in random copolymer PP in order to achieve semi matt compounds. To achieve satisfactory mattness a skin layer of minimum 2 microns should be extruded for a 12-15 micron thick films and 3 microns for films of more than 15 microns total thickness. It is approved for food packaging according to FDA.
