Acmetol 212

Acmetol 212 by Acmechem is a processing additive for rubber polymers. It is used to improve the general compound processing without significant influence on the physical properties. It acts as a dispersing agent for powdered materials and can shorten the mixing time by faster filler incorporation. It prevents sticking of elastomers and compounds to rotors and rolls. The addition of Acmetol 212 can reduce the risk of scorching, particularly in highly loaded compounds. It shows good plasticizing properties. Suitable for injection and transfer molding. It offers improved mold release. Recommended dosage level is 1 to 2% of the total batch weight.
