Afcona -2524 by Afcona Additives is a silicone containing defoamer and leveling agent. It is suitable for water-based systems for PU and acrylic based emulsions. It can be used in systems with PVC (0- 25%). Afcona -2524 is very easy to incorporate under low shear forces. It can be diluted in water and hydrocarbon. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-2.0% on total formulation and at normal condition, the dosage is 0.2-0.3%. The shelf life is 2 years.
