AKPEROX A5R by AKPA Kimya is general purpose, phthalate-free, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide. It is recommended for curing of unsaturated polyester (UP) resin at room & high temperature in existence of cobalt accelerator. It is suitable for production of composite materials which are directly in contact with human body such as buttons & water tanks. It can be used in hand lay-up & spray-up, polymer concrete & marble and filament winding and resin transfer molding (RTM). It is designed for use in vinyl ester resin. The shelf life of AKPEROX A5R is 6 months. It complies with REACH regulation EC No 1907/2006, regulation EC No 1272/2008 and commission regulation EU No 2015/830.
