AKPEROX ER59 by AKPA Kimya acts as a curing agent. It is tert-butyl peroxybenzoate with acetylacetone. It is used for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins at room and high temperatures in the existence of cobalt accelerator. It is particularly designed for pipe production and continuous production applications such as continuous lamination, resin transfer molding (RTM) and centrifugal casting. AKPEROX ER59 can be diluted in diacetone alcohol. The shelf life is 3 months.
