AKPEROX HC9-D by AKPA Kimya acts as a curing agent. It is tert-butyl peroxy benzoate designed for curing unsaturated polyester resins at 60°C. It is used in combination with a cobalt accelerator (AKCOBALT 10%) for higher applications such as artificial marble, polymer concrete and pipe production. Together with amine accelerator (N,N Dimethyl Aniline), this combination enables vinyl ester resins to harden at ambient temperature. AKPEROX HC9-D cures faster than AKPEROX LPT. It is recommended to be used with 1-2% cobalt accelerators. The shelf life of this grade is 6 months.
