AKPEROX MIKP

AKPEROX MIKP by AKPA Kimya is methyl isobutyl ketone peroxide. Together with cobalt accelerator (AKCOBALT 6%), it is used for curing unsaturated polyester resins in the temperature range of 60-150°C. This combination offers a longer gel time at room temperature. The recommended temperature range should be 60-100°C in order to achieve a short curing time. AKPEROX MIKP provides high reactivity at high temperatures even without cobalt accelerator. It is designed for the production of roofing materials. It can be diluted in isododecane. The shelf life is 6 months.
