EFOX 60

EFOX 60 by AKPA Kimya is tert-butyl peroxy-3,5,5-trimethylhexanoate. It is used as an initiator for ethylene polymerization under high pressure in autoclave and tubular processes. It is a perester which is used for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at elevated temperatures. It is suitable for UP resin-based hot press molding formulations (SMC, DMC, BMC, etc.) at 120-170°C. It can be used in filament winding, pultrusion, LDPE & PMMA. The shelf life of EFOX 60 is 3 months. It complies with REACH regulation EC No 1907/2006, regulation EC No 1272/2008 and commission regulation EU No 2015/830.
