Accelerator DETU

Accelerator DETU by Akrochem is a non-discoloring, non-staining thiourea-based accelerator for high temperature curing of mercaptan-modified polychloroprene, EPDM and CIIR. It is used in combination with Akrosperse® ETU-22 dispersion for continuous curing of solid and cellular extruded goods and in hot air cures. It shows better uniformity of the mix at lower process temperature. It acts as a retarder in clay-loaded peroxide-cured stocks and offers faster curing than ETU. It can be encapsulated with chemical dispersion. In Accelerator DETU, polymer bound dispersion is a proven means of upgrading plant safety, quality and raw material control.
