Antiozonant MPD-100

Antiozonant MPD-100 by Akrochem is a mixed diaryl-p-phenylene type anti-degradant. It acts as an antiozonant and anti-flex cracking agent for most diene polymers. It offers persistent, low-level protection when used in combination with Antiozonant PD-1 and PD-2 in general-purpose diene rubber. In polychloroprene, it is the best form of chemical antiozonant and with waxes, conjunction helps in static ozone protection. It possesses low volatility and resistance to extraction by oil and grease, allowing longer service-life products. Antiozonant MPD-100 reduces scorch time in certain products. Recommended dosage level in natural- and polyisoprene polymer is 1 phr, to reduce bin cure add 1.5 phr of PEG to CR formulas and in high performance, dynamic polychloroprene products without incompatibility bloom is 3-4 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
