ALNOVOL® PN 160

ALNOVOL® PN 160 by allnex is a non-self-curing phenolic resin of the novolak type. Suitable for reinforcing natural-, styrene-butadiene-, EPDM- and nitrile-rubber. It is readily absorbed by the rubber mix and has a strong plasticizing effect.

After vulcanization the reinforcing effect is seen as increase of tensile strength and modulus as well as by increased hardness levels.
Recommended for use in tires.
