Luperox® 223EN60H

Luperox® 223EN60H by Arkema is a di-(2-ethylhexyl) peroxydicarbonate. It acts as a polymerization initiator and emulsion initiator. It is designed for water based polymerization systems (suspension + emulsion). Compatible with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in suspension. Can be combined with initiators of lower (e.g. Luperox® LP lauroyl peroxide flakes) and higher activity (e.g. Luperox® 610EN50 emulsion initiator) to optimize the cooling capacity in a reactor by improved kinetics. Due to its phlegmatization with water, Luperox® 223EN60H is a safer alternative to pure EHP, and can be easily used in closed reactor technologies. Recommended usage concentration ranges from 0.02% to 0.15% (on monomer).
