Zinc Laurate SW

Zinc Laurate SW by Baerlocher is zinc Laurate, low bulk density, fine white powder. Produced from very high quality fatty acid and metal cation sources for polymer and other applications. Acts as an effective acid scavenger and co-stabilizing component in solid mixed metal PVC stabilizers. Also acts as a lubricant and rheology modifier (thickening agent) in PVC processing. Relatively fine and consistent particle size distribution of zinc laurate provides very good dispersion properties. Exhibits basicity, high metal content, and hydrophobic nature. Ensures consistent quality in chemical and mechanical properties. Offers relatively high surface area. Zinc Laurate SW imparts very good water repellency to concrete, mortar and other masonry and construction materials.
