Tinuvin® 494 AR

Tinuvin® 494 AR by BASF is a proprietary mixture of a methylated high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) and co-additives. It is an excellent UV stabilizer with outstanding pesticide/insecticide resistance. Tinuvin® 494 AR is particularly well suited for agricultural film applications, whenever crop protection chemicals can be a threat for the film durability. Areas of application of Tinuvin® 494 AR include polyolefins (PP, PE) as well as olefin copolymers such as EVA and EBA. Recommended dosage level is 1.0-2.5%.
