Odyssey CBS-X (C.I. 351)

Odyssey CBS-X (C.I. 351) by Beijing Odyssey Chemicals is 4,4'-Bis(2-disulphonic acid styryl) biphenyl. Acts as a high molecular weight optical brightener of the distyryl biphenyl class, suitable for the optical brightening of soaps, scented soaps, and synthetic detergents. Offers exceptional whitening properties, very good light fastness, extremely high stability with hypochloride sodium. Exhibits very good solubility in water. Imparts better whiten effect on cellulose fiber, polyamide and caesin fiber even in room temperature. Possesses high density which gives 2.7 times white effct on cotton cloth than that of diphenylene twin tristriazine derivatives. Odyssey CBS-X (C.I. 351) is used mainly in the detergent industry, in chlorine/oxygen bleaching, washing, level dyeing. Can be biologically degraded.
