XOP- 308

Chemical foaming agent. Characterized by endo/ exothermic decomposition. It is a free flowing powder that has the benefit of both endothermic and exothermic foaming agents, with emphasis on the endothermic end. Used to provide a fine cell structure in most systems. Maximum gas yields are achieved when processing temperatures of 160- 192°C ( 320-378°F) are reached. Typical dosages for injection molding and extrusion are in the range of 0.25- 0.75%.
