Biofr HBCD by Bioray Chem is hexabromocyclododecane. Acts as a flame retardant. Provides excellent performance at low loading levels with minimum effect on polymer properties. Used for extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) and expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) as well as other styrenic based resin systems. It is also used in textile back coating that are used extensively in building and construction industry.
