Bionox 1098

N,N’-hexane-1,6-diylbis(3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4 hydroxyphenylpropionamide)). Acts as an efficient and extraction resistant, hindered phenolic antioxidant. Possesses excellent performance effect metal deactivation and antioxidant upon the thermoplastic resins. Protects polymer color during manufacturing, spinning or thermal fixation. Also protects fiber during the last stages of polymerization or by dry blending on nylon chips. Used in wire as well as cable applications. Can also be used as primary insulation of PP, HDPE, LDPE, other elastomers, polyamide fibers, molded articles and films.
