TYTAN™ CP-318

TYTAN™ CP-318 by Borica is a stearyl titanate. Acts as a coupling & dispersing agent. It is a molecular bridge at the interface between inorganic filler such as CaCO3, BaSO4, graphite, carbon black, silica and metal oxide with polymer such as PP, PE, PVC, PBT, PET, ABS and rubbers. TYTAN™ CP-318 by Borica reacts not only with the hydroxyls but the free protons on the inorganic interface, which results in the formation of organic monomolecular layers on the inorganic surface forming the bonding for polymers. It is easy to handle and can be fed in extruder after mixing with polymer and filler. General dosage range is 0.2% ~ 0.6% by weight of filler or polymer for liquid type and 0.5% ~ 1.5% by weight of filler or polymer for solid type.
