Biosilico® Antimicrobial Silica by BSB Nanotech is a fine silica powder that has ability to inhibit the growth of microbes such as bacteria, viruses and fungi.

It can be incorporated directly into polymers as an additive for long-lasting and ever-present ability to prevent the growth of unwanted microorganisms.
It enhances the quality and performance of the plastic or polymer compounds and extends their lifetime.
It provides shielding against formation of mold, mildew and fungi on the surface and results in clean and odorless products.
It has a vast range of end applications in industrial products such as plastics & food packaging, polymers, pulp & paper.
Recommended dosages are 1-5% depending on the formulation and 15-20% for masterbatch formulations.
