BYK® -3761

BYK®-3761 by BYK is a highly effective, silicone-containing surface additive for thermosets with a strong reduction in the surface tension. It provides excellent substrate wetting, prevents cratering and increases surface slip. This SVHC-label-free additive is a solution of polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane. In pigmented systems, it can prevent the formation of bénard cells and improve leveling. BYK®-3761 is recommended for polyurethane and epoxy systems. The recommended level is 0.1-0.5% additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with Directive 2011/65/EU (EU RoHS 2), as amended by the Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 (EU RoHS 3), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 36 months.
