BYK® -P 9915

Technical DataSheet | Supplied by Byk (Altana Group)

BYK -P 9915 by BYK Altana Group is a combination of polyoxyalkylene derivatives. Acts as a viscosity depressant. It reduces the viscosity and improves the flow properties of the reactive blend. Suitable for polyols and polyurethane foam systems. It therefore also has a positive effect when mixing the usually high-viscosity polyol blends with the relatively low-viscosity isocyanates. The product reacts with the isocyanate in the system via its hydroxyl groups. It is listed in TSCA, EINECS, DSL, ENCS, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC, ECSI and PICCS. Complies with REACH (1907/2006), RoHS (2002/95/EC), WEEE (2002/96/EC), CONEG and RoHS 2 (2011/65/EC). Typical level of BYK -P 9915 by BYK Altana Group ranges from 0.5-5% (as supplied) based on the total formulation.
