BYK® -W 9012

BYK®-W 9012 by BYK is a solvent-free, wetting and dispersing additive for closed mold applications to reduce the viscosity and improve the homogeneity of ATH-filled compounds. It improves the wetting and dispersing of ATH (aluminum trihydroxide). The additive reduces the compound viscosity which makes it possible to have higher filler content in the resin. It also improves batch reproducibility. BYK®-W 9012 is particularly recommended for low emission SMC/BMC, LS formulations, epoxy systems and pultrusion. The recommended level is 0.5-1% additive (as supplied) based upon the ATH content. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, ENCS, PICCS and ECSI. It complies with EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU-Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging, EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 36 months.
