BYK® -220 SN

BYK® -220 SN by BYK acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for thermosets. It is a solution of a low molecular weight, unsaturated acidic polycarboxylic acid polyester with a polysiloxane copolymer. It contains surface-active substances.

• It improves the dispersion of all conventional fillers, such as calcium carbonate and aluminum hydroxide.
• It reduces the viscosity of the filled resin, which enables an increased filler content.
• It reduces flooding & floating, prevents the formation of Bénard cells and improves the surface slip & leveling.
• Suitable for unsaturated polyester resins, gel coats, acrylic, polyurethane and epoxy resins and displays the highest efficiency in all applications.
• Recommanded dosage level is 0.5-1.5%.
• It complies with REACH.
• Shelf life of BYK® -220 SN is 60 months.
