CS 40

CS 40 by Carl Spaeter is a soda-lime-borosilicate-based functional filler. It is micro-sized, thin-walled hollow glass sphere. It exhibits high mechanical compression strength, chemical resistance, high temperature stability. It is suitable for thermoplastics, thermoplastic elastomers and silicone rubber applications. It helps to reduce weight of extruded & injection molded parts and also reduces cooling time & cycle-time in injection molding. It offers reduction of shrinkage, warping and prevention of sink marks. It provides improved rheology, higher mold flow, improved thermal insulation, noise reduction performance, enhanced fire resistance and smoke reduction. It shows improvement of dielectric properties. The shelf life of CS 40 is 12 months.
