Viton™ FreeFlow™ RC

Viton™ FreeFlow™ RC by Chemours is fluoroelastomer-based, processing additive for narrow molecular weight LLDPE. It eliminates melt fracture, lowers extrusion pressure, and reduces extrusion torque & die buildup. It combines a lubricant to accelerate die conditioning on clean dies or purged systems with the die cleaning properties of Viton™ FreeFlow™ SC. It also incorporates improved chemistry to reduce interactions with other formulation ingredients. This additive offers improved additive efficiency, particularly on lines where frequent formula changes are made or in formulas containing multiple additives. It provides extended running time between die cleanings, improved performance in combined masterbatches with pigments and improved economics. It is approved for food contact and potable water applications. The shelf life of Viton™ FreeFlow™ RC is 4 years, at storage temperature below 27°C.
