CESA™ IR NE94025582 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a crystallizable polyethylene terephthalate (C-PET) grade. Suitable for film extrusion in agricultural and other thermal film applications. It is a highly loaded masterbatch that replaces carbon black to make black packaging detectable during the recycling process. It maintains transparency, increases heat retention and supports plant growth. Exhibits very good processability, high coloration strength and dispersion quality. The dark colored plastics are visible to the near-infrared (NIR) sensors used in automated polymer sorting systems. It allows the penetration of short-wave IR radiation coming from solar rays and prevents the emission of longer-wave IR radiation. CESA™ IR NE94025582 also allows greenhouses to maintain an adequate temperature, even at night.
