Exolit® AP 423

Exolit® AP 423 by Clariant is a fine-particle ammonium polyphosphate. Acts as a flame retardant. It is a biodegradable, non-hygroscopic and non-flammable white powder. It is halogen-free. It has low viscosity in aqueous suspensions and has very low acid number. It is largely insoluble in water and completely insoluble in organic solvents. Exolit® AP 423 by Clariant is used in polyethylene, polypropylene, unsaturated polyester, epoxy, phenolic and other thermoset resins. It is Clariant’s EcoTain compliant grade. Its minimum shelf life is 6 months.
