Licomont® CaV 102 fine grain

Licomont® CaV 102 fine grain by Clariant is a calcium salt of long chain, saturated, linear carboxylic acids (montanic acids). Acts as a nucleating and lubricating agent. Moreover, it is an acid scavenger for polyoxymethylene. Offers excellent thermal- & color stability, low volatility, excellent release and flow. It does not affect the transparency and mechanical properties of polyamides and has no influence on polymer degradation. It is very effective at low concentration and allows reduction of cycle time upto 25% in injection molding applications. It is used in the polymerization of polyamide and applicable for PET, PBT, POM and biopolymers.
