Calcium carbonate. Acts as a filler in rigid and plasticized PVC. It is a dry, fine and natural CaCO3. In polyolefin, it is used for compound/masterbatch that are further used for molding and films applications. In thermosets, it is used for EP/UP molding compounds, glass reinforced plastics (GRP) and PUR-foam. Also used for PVC pipe as well as conduit, plasticized PVC profiles and injection molding applications. Complies with TSCA, DSL, and CONEG. Also used as an indirect food additive in food packaging applications under 21 CFR (FDA) 174.5, 175.300, and 178.3297.
