PUREstab 1076

PUREstab 1076 distributed by DKSH is a phenolic primary antioxidant for processing and long-term thermal stabilization. It provides protection against thermo-oxidative degradation.

This non-discoloring grade can be used with polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and polybutene-1 as well as styrene homo and copolymers, polyurethanes and elastomers.
It is odorless, stable to light and has good compatibility with most substrates, low volatility and high resistance to extraction.
PUREstab 1076 can be used in combination with other additives such as co-stabilizers, e.g. thioethers (long term heat stabilizers), phosphites, phosphonites (secondary antioxidant), light stabilizers and other functional stabilizers.
It is highly effective when used in combination with PUREfos 168.
Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.2% while it is 0.1-0.4% for polyolefins, 0.1-0.3% for styrene homo- and copolymers and 0.1-0.5% for synthetic tackifier resins.
