DOWSIL™ 31-441 Additive

DOWSIL™ 31-441 Additive by Dow Chemical is a silicone polymer. Acts as an anti-scratch agent. It improves the extrusion process by decreasing torque and has a dual effect on surface properties by improving scratch resistance and coefficient of friction. It has no impact on mechanical performances of the polymer. Compatible with polyamide-based composites. Recommended dosage is around 1-2% by weight. DOWSIL™ 31-441 Additive has a shelf life of 24 months.
