Picco™ A140 Hydrocarbon Resin

Picco™ A140 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a processing aid agent. It is a low molecular weight, thermoplastic resin produced from petroleum-derived monomers. It is characterized by its excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and moisture. It shows good color stability, water repellent, pigment wetting, balance of flex, tear, tack and adhesion properties. It is polymerized under conditions that control its softening point within a narrow range. It is compatible with SBR, modified rosins and rosin esters, alkyds and drying oils, polar elastomers, epoxy resins and chlorinated rubber and partially compatible with EVA co-polymers. Picco™ A140 Hydrocarbon Resin is designed for packaging-, non food contact-, specialty tape, wires and cables. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
