ACCUREL® SF 617

ACCUREL® SF 617 is a high purity slip agent by Evonik. It reduces the coefficient of friction at temperatures below 60°C. Provides smoother surface appearance and better internal melt flow. Suitable for injection molded PP/ TPO-based parts and transparent applications via winding up process. Recommended at a dosage level of 0.6-1.2 % as haptic enhancer, 0.1-0.4 % as slip agent and 0.4-1.0 % as mold release agent. It can be incorporated using gravimetric or volumetric dosing equipment or by pre-blending it with the base resin. Complies with EU Regulation EC 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 and REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. It is listed with GB 9685-2016 for use in PE with food contact. Shelf life of ACCUREL® SF 617 is 12 months.
