Dabco® 2039

Dabco® 2039 by Evonik is amine catalyst. Used to promote the urethane (polyol isocyanate) reaction. It has low VOC/fogging values. It is a low odor alternative to morpholine based amines in flexible polyester slabstock applications and used in all or high water rigid foam applications to reduce friability/improve adhesion to various substrates. Possesses better control of lay down and block formation. Dabco® 2039 can match the performance of NEM, NMM and BDMA in a wide spectrum of polyester slabstock foam formulations. In spray foam and rigid panel applications, adhesion to various substrates can be enhanced, particularly at low temperatures.
