ORTEGOL® 700

ORTEGOL® 700 by Evonik acts as a processing aid for polyurethane applications. It improves recovery speed and final performance of compressed foams, especially after long periods of storage and transportation. It helps to improve the production conditions and reduce foam defects. It enables compressed mattresses to unfold and recover to their original volume much faster. It also enables flexible foam industry to take advantage of increased “Bed in a Box” demand. It offers improved aging resistance and is optimized for odors and emissions. It passes the low-VOC chamber test. ORTEGOL® 700 is used in combination with Evonik’s DABCO® NE range of emission optimized catalysts and TEGOSTAB® surfactants, in order to reduce curing times before compressing, lowered costs and improved compression set during roll tests.
