Jayflex™ L9TM plasticizer

Jayflex™ L9TM plasticizer by ExxonMobil is a specialty high molecular weight trimellitate plasticizer. Offers very low volatility, low fogging performance and low migration into PU foam. It shows superior cold temperature flexibility and low viscosity compared to branched trimellitates. Recommended for automotive interiors and wire & cable applications that require resistance to very high temperatures, migration and extraction resistance over long durations. It is typically used in high-specification electrical cable insulation and sheathing (meeting Underwriters Laboratories standards), usually in blends with the high molecular-weight phthalates such as Jayflex™ DTDP plasticizer. Jayflex™ L9TM plasticizer extends the performance to applications that require lower temperature flexibility or greater UV stability such as Class C automotive cables and wind turbine tray cables.
