SYLOBLOC® P 09 Anti-Blocking Aid

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Grace
SYLOBLOC® P 09 Anti-Blocking Aid by Grace is a highly efficient anti-blocking additive for plastic films. It is based on synthetic amorphous silica, making it ideally suited as a non-crystalline improvement to natural mineral and diatomite additives. It is designed to reduce the coefficient of friction through the creation of micro-roughness on the film surface, which decreases the area of contact between films to prevent sticking.
  • It is easy to disperse and has low impurity content with excellent optical properties.
  • It has low or same abrasiveness of platy-like anti-blocking additives if compared to same blocking force.
  • In most countries, SYLOBLOC® P 09 Anti-Blocking Aid is approved for use in food packaging films.
  • It is used in LDPE/LLDPE films & sheets, single layer film (CPP, IPP) and masterbatches.
  • It is ideal for a film thickness of >50 microns.
  • It is listed with TSCA, DSL, EINECS, PICCS, IECSC, AIIC, ENCS, KECI, ERMA, TCSCA, RPOHV, NZIoC, DIW, TCSI and INSQ.
  • It has a shelf life of 12 months.
