GC UV 1577 is a 2-(4, 6-diphenyl-1, 3, 5-triazin-2-yl)-5-[(hexyl) oxy]-phenol by GreenChemicals. It acts as a UV absorber of the hydroxyphenyl triazine class. It exhibits very low volatility and is available in light yellow powder or granular form. It is suitable for flame retarded compounds. GC UV 1577 is compatible with polymer blends & alloys such as PC/PET, PC/ABS, PC/PBT, PPE/IPS, PPE/PA and copolymers.
